"Daddy Come Home" by Nadia Lawrence

Here is a wonderful song that a young student of mine named Nadia Lawrence wrote called “Daddy Come Home” It’s about a girl missing her father in the military. The song was produced by Ron Saltmarsh. 50% of the proceeds for buying this song will go to the Daddy Come Home Foundation benefiting families of the military.

Sissel & Mormon Tabernacle - In the Bleak Midwinter

Here is one of my favorite pop-classical singers singing a beautiful Christmas song with none other than the local and world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The whole show is worth watching. I know it’s cliche to say, but she truly has the voice of an angel; a truly immaculate voice. Enjoy!

Vocal Technique tip for women:
Sissel tends to sing in a more classical style, but notice how she gently dips down into her chest voice. That’s one reason why her voice has a beautiful ring to it, like a bell. Her vocal cords are connecting together in the bottom part of her voice.
